LSU defensive tackle Tyler Shelvin plans to opt out of the 2020 season, according to a report from Sports Illustrated's Ross Dellenger.

Shelvin, who started 13 games at nose tackle for the Tigers last season, becomes the fourth LSU player to opt out of the upcoming season, joining receiver Ja'Marr Chase, defensive back Kary Vincent Jr. and defensive lineman Neil Farrell.
LSU is currently set to open its 10-game SEC-only season Sept. 26 against Mississippi State.
