They have crunched the numbers on alcohol sales at the LSU - Florida game last Saturday in Tiger Stadium, and they are some big numbers. Beer and wine outsold everything else.
LSU says fans bought nearly 55,000 servings of beer and wine.
Water and soda were second at just shy of 53,000 sold.
Hot dogs, popcorn and burgers were far behind in sales.
#LSU had a record day in concessions at Tiger Stadium Saturday night with $1.175 million in gross sales in general seating areas only. Sales included:-- 54,794 beer/wine-- 52,840 water/soda-- 11,723 hot dogs-- 6,107 popcorns-- 5,997 burgers
