Tropical weather sometimes brings out the crazies. A video posted to Facebook may show one example.
Facebook user Glen David Andrews was shooting video on his phone at the Moonwalk Friday afternoon where he encountered a man, stripped down to his shorts, who took a short walk down the steps, dove into the swollen Mighty Muddy, and swam a few yards upstream before climbing back up on the Moonwalk.
The river has been moving especially fast lately, and people attempting to swim in it are sometimes never seen again. It is forecast to peak just above flood stage at 17.1' on Monday, thanks to rainfall from Tropical Storm Barry.
