Police say they’ve arrested 20-year-old Caine Zander Brown of Jefferson, La. and charged him with one count of felony criminal damage to property by defacing with graffiti, and one count of felony hate crimes.
The arrest is related to the September 5th, 2018 crime where anti-semitic symbols were spray-painted on the exterior of the Northshore Jewish Congregation.
Sticker says he was appalled by the hate-crime and says he has personally worked security details at that synagogue and says he knows many of the people in that congregation. "Whether it is anti-semitic, or anti-African-American churches, or sexual preferences or any protected class it is especially offensive," said Sticker. He adds, "Yes we do have First Amendment privileges, but those privileges stop when they are imposed and put others in danger."
