Isis began as a Kenner krewe, but has been a fixture on the Veteran Memorial Boulevard route in Metairie for the last 40 years.
The Advocate reports the new route will begin at Esplanade Mall in Kenner, and Isis members were not happy with the changes to the Metairie parade route, that had then beginning on Veterans near Bonnabel and ending at Clearview Mall in 2019.
Kenner officials say they will hold a news conference tomorrow to make a "major" Carnival announcement.
