An arrest has been made following the Saturday night murder of a Meraux man at an apartment complex in Metairie.
The Times-Picayune/New Orleans Advocate reports Daronica Lumar is facing charges of being an accessory after the fact to second degree murder.
Sheriff's deputies arrived at the Flowergate Apartments on Kent Avenue after 11pm to find 37-year-old Albert Bourgeois lying on the ground.
Bourgeois was suffering from numerous gunshot wounds and later died at the scene.
The 27-year-old Lumar lives at the apartment complex.
No details about her alleged connection to case has been released.
