Middleman linked to recruiting scandal involving LSU's Will Wade convicted of bribery

The Advocate reports that basketball middleman Christian Dawkins who was linked at the center of the recruiting scandal involving LSU head coach Will Wade has been convicted today of bribing coaches for the recruitment of high school athletes for money, according to reports from ESPN and other outlets.  

Former Adidas consultant Merl Code was also found guilty of conspiracy to commit bribery.  

A federal jury in New York found Dawkins guilty of conspiracy to commit bribery and bribery.  

Sentencing will occur at a later date.
