According to Stubhub, it’s the second hottest ticket of the year…. we’re talking about tickets to today’s Alabama-LSU game. As of Friday morning, fourteen hundred tickets were left and Adam Budelli with Stubhub says tickets for this game only follow in popularity to another game familiar to the Bayou state.

“The LSU over Alabama game this weekend, the number two over the number three, is already the number two NCAA football game this season only trailing the LSU Texas game. But demand is already through the roof,” says Budelli.

This game differs from the LSU-Texas game because of the rankings and its Presidential draw. If you want to get your hands on tickets, Budelli says it’s going cost you.

“To get in around $270, you’re looking for an upper-level end zone ticket. If you are more interested in a lower bowl, that price is going to jump pretty significantly to about $400 per ticket,” says Budelli.

Last year for the regular season for Stubhub the highest-selling NCAA tickets were for the Georgia-LSU and Alabama LSU games. So far the LSU demand is trending this year ticket wise as well according to Budelli.

“But this one is already 11 percent higher last year, and we are seeing the average ticket price ten percent higher. So this is a trend we are seeing for LSU across the board,” says Budelli.

In addition to a presidential visit, ESPN game day will be in attendance for the game as well. Kickoff is at 2:30 on CBS.
