Thursday morning will be chilly again, but the day should turn out to me not quite as cold as Wednesday. The wind will be blowing a little less also.
A Gulf low developing to our south will likely increase clouds and send some coastal showers toward LA and MS later Thursday and some could move inland a bit early Friday," said WWL-TV meteorologist Alexandra Cranford. "The low is being generated from an upper trough, which will move east of the area for the weekend, clearing skies and allowing for pleasant conditions."
Another, stronger cold front looks to increase shower and thunderstorms for Monday before another big drop in temperatures by Tuesday, so the up and down pattern continues.
