Aerial spraying is coming to communities on the east and west banks of the Mississippi Wednesday evening.
Kenner, Jefferson, Bridge City, Westwego, Gretna, Avondale, Waggaman, Jean Lafitte and Crown Point will be sprayed between 7-and-10pm.
Mike Lockwood, Director of the Department of Environmental Affairs for Jefferson Parish says if adverse weather forces cancellation, spraying will take place on the first suitable evening for aerial operations.
