What's it going to take for the NFL to change the replay system for penalties that need reviewing?  Apparently what happened to the Saints in the infamous "NOLA No-Call" is not enough.

The league's competition committee is in no rush to make changes, says NFL analyst Mike Detillier, and he says that's a shame.

''There should be a change, but right now I don't think they have a consensus in the league,'' Detillier said.

Detillier says the NFL is slow to change, and for now, it looks like the rules committee seems to be in no rush, and there is no agreement on how to do it.

''You want the call right, I think that's what everybody wants," Detillier said. "You don't want to see another team go through what happened here in New Orleans to Saints fans.

Bottom line, he thinks it will take another blatant incident, probably to a big-market team, before the NFL takes action on a change.

The Canadian Football League has had a replay system for penalties for years with few complaints.

"They have it," said Detillier. "Why don't we have it?"
