New Orleans Police today say the have narrowed down the likely make and model of a vehicle in a fatal hit-and-run Sunday night on the edge of Treme.
Police believe the pedestrian killed at N. Claiborne and Esplanade avenues was hit by either a GMC Yukon or Chevy Tahoe, based on this photo provided by a bystander:
"The suspect vehicle initially stopped and was photographed by a bystander," said police. "The suspect vehicle then fled the scene."
