Police in New Orleans are investigating a fatal shooting in Treme’.
Initial NOPD report says it happened about 6:48 a.m. on Monday at the intersection of Dumaine and South Claiborne Avenue.
Police say responding officers found a male victim with a gunshot wound. EMS pronounced the man dead at the scene.
The investigation is on going and details are limited at this time. The identity of the victim has not been released.
