A vehicle on fire near Carrollton and Tulane led New Orleans police to discover an early morning triploe shooting that left one man dead.
An initial NOPD report says, “Just before 2:00 a.m., an NOPD officer assigned to the Mid City Protection District who was patrolling in the area reported hearing gunshots. Upon arrival, officers discovered a vehicle crashed at the location and on fire. Upon investigation, officers located an adult male victim inside of the vehicle. The victim was found to have sustained a gunshot wound and was declared dead at the scene."
