The New Orleans Police Department is looking for the thief or thieves who stole an Isreali-built assault rifle from a vehicle in Algiers. The burglary happened in the 3700 block of Rue Nadine.
"The victim reported parking his vehicle in the rear driveway of his residence at about 9:30 p.m. on July 31, 2019," said NOPD. "When he returned to the location on August 1 at about 2:40 p.m., he observed his IWI Tavor X95 rifle, serial number T0068047, missing from the rear cargo area of his vehicle."
