A Drew Brees-look-alike spotted in the stands at Sunday's Saints-Cardinals game gained a brief moment of fame when CBS showed him during the game broadcast. Now that man, Lafayette gym owner Jeremy Hohle, got to meet his doppelgänger today.
Hohle is a long-time Saints fans who said for the last 12 years, people have pointed out the resemblance to him. Hohle has to add the birthmark, but even Brees' wife found the resemblance to be uncanny.
"A bunch of people were screen-shotting the TV and sending it to my wife," said Brees. "When I saw her after the game, she's like, you're not going to believe, there's this look-alike in the stands, like, a striking resemblance."
"It's crazy, I'll see a picture on Facebook, scrolling through, and I'm like, 'oh, that's Drew, that's not me!" Hohle said.
"Long-lost cousin here," Brees joked after taking a selfie with Hohle.
