Cops are asking women to come forward if they were victims of a 56-year-old man accused of drugging, kidnapping, beating, and raping three women near Alexandria.

Grant Parish Sheriff Steven McCain says Justin Walters met his victims on social media, then kidnapped them and held them captive for days.

"Walters would use his medical experience as a registered nurse to medically incapacitate these women," said McCain. "He would physically restrain the women and beat them for days, raping one of them."

McCain says his deputies learned what was happening when one of the victims set herself free.

"One of the women was able to chew through her restraints and escaped," McCain said. "This is truly every woman's worst nightmare to be held captive, beaten, and then sexually abused."

The sheriff is asking anyone else who may have been a victim to come forward, as they seek to build a strong case against the suspect.

"This guy definitely doesn't need to be walking the streets," said McCain, "and we want to give as solid of a case to the district attorney's office as possible to make sure that he's able to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and he stays behind bars."

Walters was booked in Grant Parish on one count for first degree rape, second degree sexual battery, false imprisonment with a dangerous weapon, aggravated battery, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, domestic abuse battery with strangulation, domestic abuse battery with strangulation involving child endangerment, domestic abuse aggravated assault with child endangerment, and simple criminal damage to property.

He also faces charges in Rapides Parish of aggravated rape, obstruction of justice, false imprisonment with a weapons, and second degree kidnapping.
