Officials now say the evacuation zone has decreased following the implosion of the cranes at the Hard Rock site
According to authorities with the City of New Orleans, if you are not in the red zone it is safe to return. However if you are still in the red zone of the map, the evacuation order remains.
The evacuation order will remain until further notice.
