Jovin Webb is going to the top eleven on American Idol.

The 29-year-old from Gonzales, Louisiana advanced on the show Sunday night.

He is performing from his current home in Baton Rouge.

Viewers from across the country voted to put Webb in the top ten after his top 20 performance last week.  The judges advanced one more singer to make it a top eleven next week.

Webb is now hoping to get the votes to send him to the top seven.

Later in the show another Louisiana singer found out that she did not advance.

Faith Becnel's Idol journey ends after the top 20.

The 20 year old did not get the votes to stay on the show.

Becnel is from Destrehan.

We will find out next Sunday if Webb makes it to the top seven.

Due to the pandemic, contestants are all using video conferencing to participate in the competition.

American Idol live shows were delayed due to coronavirus and the need for social distancing.
