NOPD is investigating a fatal shooting that happened near the intersection of Freret Street and Martin Luther King Blvd on Sunday.
According to police a man received a gun shot wound to the head and was pronounced dead on the scene.
A second adult male victim was shot in the leg and is listed in stable condition.
