Media maven Oprah Winfrey has put her money where her mouth is, investing in friend and frequent guest Dr. Andrew Weil's True Food Kitchen chain. Winfrey sits on the board of directors and is actively involved in marketing the healthy food restaurant which is growing quickly.
New Orleans is getting it's True Food Kitchen, opening September 25th. Starting today however the restaurant will host a three-week job fair Monday through Saturday, 10am-6pm at their location on the corner of St. Charles and Julia. Senior Marketing Manager Christine Ferris says the restaurant is looking to fill 135 open positions.
"New Orleans is obvisously a foodie market and we're really excited to bringing our seasonal dishes and beverages there," Ferris says.
