In an interview with CBS News prior to the Super Bowl, President Donald Trump talked about the blown call near the end of regulation in the NFC Championship Game.

"It was certainly a bad call," the president told CBS' Margaret Brennan. "The Saints are a wonderful team with a great quarterback and it's a shame we couldn't have seen that game finish out."

Mr. Trump said in the interview that he was rooting for the Patriots, who went on to win the game 13-3 over the Los Angeles Rams.
