A West Hollywood-based production company is developing a movie based on the infamous non-call in the NFC Championship game, The New Orleans Advocate reports.
Titled Get the Ref, the report says filming will begin this summer. The company, Prior Military Productions, wants to hire disabled veterans to work on the film crew.
Danny Devito and Ed Helms are reportedly in talks for roles in the film, and the producers want to get NFL Roger Goodell for a cameo.
The plot involves fans "bound and determined to get the ref who missed the call."
