After the rain moves out Sunday night, the night should be quiet.  A fairly high rain chance again on Monday, mainly midday and afternoon.

"With plentiful moisture in the atmosphere, showers and storms on Monday could once again bring some heavy rain and possibly some street flooding issues in spots," said WWL-TV Meteorologist Alexandra Cranford.

A July "cold front" Tuesday will bring some heavy rain and thunderstorms. Wednesday and Thursday should be drier and lower humidity.
