The rain is back as Tropical Depression 3 forms off the Yucatan Peninsula.

WWL-TV’s Meteorologists Dave Nussbaum says, “This will help draw up more moisture from the Gulf of Mexico and that will set off spotty showers and storms over us. Some downpours are possible. Highs in the upper 80s. Tonight will be mostly cloudy and muggy with spotty showers and storms. Lows will be in the 70s.”

7 AM #TD3 Update: Not much has changed, but more thunderstorms are wrapping around the center. It is now moving a tad faster at 3 mph to the west. Forecast still calls for it to become Tropical Storm #Cristobal later today. #BeOn4 @WWLTV pic.twitter.com/NOoOUzxvns
