Some more New Orleans Saints players have been selected for the NFL Pro Bowl, to be played the weekend before the Super Bowl in Orlando.
Running back Alvin Kamara and guards Andrus Peat and Larry Warford were named to the squad Tuesday. It makes eight total from the Saints selected to the all-star game, and a new team record according to Saints officials.
The milestone is likely a bitter pill for many citizens of the Who Dat Nation. Kamara is going to replace Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley, who will be playing in the Super Bowl. Had it not been for the officials in the NFC Championship Game missing a crucial defensive pass interference and personal foul call late in the game, it's most likely Kamara who would be playing in the Super Bowl, with members of the Rams team filling in the NFC slots left open at the Pro Bowl.
Meanwhile, Pro Bowl selectees Drew Brees, Max Unger, Terron Armstead, and Michael Thomas have announced they will not be attending the game.
