The doors of the Saenger Theatre will be reopening to the public in time for the holidays.
Officials announced the opening will happen December 11, almost two months after the collapse of the Hard Rock hotel under construction, which forced businesses in the area to close.
The Saenger suffered some damage in the partial collapse, with the roof damaged.
Three construction workers were killed in the partial collapse.
A covered walkway will be constructed to allow Saenger patrons to safely enter the theater.
Magician Criss Angel will perform on the opening night as part of his "The Mindfreak Unplugged" tour.
