First quarter
Buccaneers 7, Saints 0, 7:27 : Tom Brady’s two-yard run caps a nine-play 85-yard drive that was aided by two pass interference penalties against the Saints.
Second quarter
Saints 7, Buccaneers 7, 11:39: Drew Brees connected with Alvin Kamara for a 12-yard touchdown to finish off an 11-play, 64-yard drive.
Saints 14, Buccaneers 7, 10:09: Alvin Kamara scored on a six-yard touchdown run to cap a three-play, 35-yard drive that was set up by a Marcus Williams interception on the previous drive.
Saints 17, Buccaneers 7, :44: Wil Lutz hit a 29-yard field goal to cap a 10-play, 44-yard drive. The drive was started after Saints defensive lineman Margus Hunt blocked a 54-yard Ryan Succop field goal attempt. The blocked kick was recovered by cornerback Patrick Robinson at the New Orleans 45 yard line.
Third quarter
Saints 24, Buccaneers 7, 13:13: Janoris Jenkins intercepted a pass from Brady intended for Justin Watson. Jenkins returned the pick 36 yards for the score.
Saints 24, Buccaneers 14, 12:20: Brady connected with a wide open OJ Howard for a 9-yard touchdown to cap a two-play, 75-yard drive. The Buccaneers gained most of those yards via a 45-yard pass interference penalty and a 21-yard run by Ronald Jones.
Saints 24, Buccaneers 17, 2:22: Ryan Succop hits a 38-yd field goal with 2:22 to play third. The kick was set up by a 28-yard pass interference penalty on Saints cornerback Patrick Robinson that put the Buccaneers in field goal range.
Fourth quarter
Saints 31, Buccaneers 17, 11:44: Brees connected with Saints receiver Emmanuel Sanders for a five-yard score.
Saints 34, Buccaneers 17, 8:05: Lutz connected on a 21-yard field goal to cap a seven-play, 15-yard drive.
Saints 34, Buccaneers 23, 2:46: Brady found Mike Evans for a two-yard touchdown following an 11-play, 90-yard drive.
