Heading to the lake and golfing are likely on most Summer to-do lists.

But Sean Payton found a way to do both, at the same time, this past weekend. The New Orleans Saints coach participated in the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship in Lake Tahoe over the weekend and was forced to take a shot off of a boat - literally.

Payton can be seen in a video posted to Twitter hitting a shot off a spectator’s boat as it floated in the lake.

The Saints longtime coach even joked about it being a “core workout” as he steadied himself for the shot. Ultimately, Payton appears to get the ball back in play.

The tournament which is played at Edgewood Tahoe South and benefits the Stowers Institute for Medical Research was won by current NFL analyst and former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo for the second-straight year.  Payton like many of the Saints players is enjoying the time off ahead of the start of training camp July 26.
