It was exactly what Saints fans were hoping for, a 34-17 victory over Tampa Bay. Back on the winning track, and dominating on both sides of the ball.
We talked to Saints fans who were watching the game and when it was over, they were happy with the effort.
"They looked a lot better than they did last week, well rounded play," said this man who was pleased with the way his team played. "I thought it would be another 3 point field goal type of game, but they put the ball in the endzone and scored."
"The defense played great and Drew Brees is amazing," said another fan.
"It was great having (Alvin) Kamara come out and Brees throwing better, it showed us what's in store for the future," said this man.
"We got the win and I always feel comfortable and not stress out," this Who Dat said.
"The defense definitely showed up," one fan noted.
"Any Monday after a Saints win is a good Monday," said this woman.
Next up another division game, this time against Carolina back at home in the dome on Sunday.
