"Wait till next year." That's all Saints fans can say after being sent home with a loss against the Vikings by a score of 26-20 in overtime.
We talked to fans inside the Mercedes Benz Superdome as soon as the game ended.
"Obviously I am disappointed but you've got to be honest with yourself, the offensive line pretty much got dominated for 3 quarters, and most of the time we come back from that, and we still went to overtime," said this man.
"The one thing I noticed is they (Saints) were just playing sloppy," this young Saints fan said. "It's a playoff game, we should be ready for anything, but we were just playing sloppy."
"I thought we were weak on offense, pretty stiff on defense," another Who Dat said. "They've got a good defense, but with our potent offense we still should have been able to move the ball."
"You can't make the last play of the game be the game," explained one man at the dome. "If you are a winning team, you need to be 14 points up at the last play."
"I liked the defense, they were great," this woman said. "You have to look for the silver lining. We just wait till next year."
"Fishing season is about to start so I'm ready for my free Sundays, again," said this man who could only laugh about it.
