If you’re having trouble finding the right gift for someone, chances are Saints and LSU gear could do the trick. Pam Randazza of the Black and gold shop tell us that the Saints color rush jerseys, the white jerseys with the gold numbers, are the hot item this year.
"Drew Brees, Michael Thomas, and Alvin Kamara are the only color rush jerseys that were made this year, and they are going fast," said Randazza. "We are already sold out of some sizes."
LSU gifts are also in high demand, and as a result, harder to find.
Nike only made a few #9 jerseys this year, and they were sold out by April. There is not even an LSU jersey in Nike’s official catalogue. Randazza told us that polo shirts were more popular among LSU fans, until this year.
"The Louisiana merchants just did not sell the numbers that Nike needed to produce jerseys, so they just did not produce them," Randazza said.
