Some good news to start the week. Saints left tackle Terron Armstead practiced in a limited capacity as he works his way back from an ankle injury. He left the 1st quarter of week 12’s contest against Carolina and did not practice at all last week.
Fullback Zach Line (knee) was also limited, while guard Andrus Peat (forearm), LB Kiko Alonso (thigh) and LB AJ Klien (knee) did not take part. Both Alonso and Klien left the Thanksgiving victory in Atlanta due to their issues while Craig Robertson and Stephone Anthony took fill-in snaps. The Saints have also brought back linebacker Manti Te’o, who had not signed with any team this season. The team waived TE Dan Arnold from active roster while tackle Nate Wozniak was brought back to the practice squad. FB Ricky Ortiz was dropped from the practice sqaud.
