Playoff ticket invoices have gone out to Saints Season ticket holders, as required by the NFL.

Tickets for two possible home games: Game 1 – NFC wildcard/divisional game, and Game 2 -- NFC championship game, are for sale.  Season ticket holders have to make a commitment to purchase tickets by November 29.

This is before we will know if the Saints will actually host a playoff game.  Season ticket holders had the option to “pay as we play” -- if they chose that option before the season started, they do not have to purchase the tickets until the game is secured.  If they did not choose the “pay as we play” option, playoff tickets must be paid for by November 29.

In the unlikely event that the Saints do not make the playoffs, or do not host a playoff game, the ticket payment is then credited to the season ticket holders account toward next year’s tickets.

To secure a home playoff game, the Saints must win the NFC South division.  A win over Carolina this weekend, and a win over Atlanta on Thanksgiving, would give the Saints, according to odds makers, a 96 percent chance of winning the division.

After November 29, any playoff tickets not reserved first go to season ticket holders looking for extras, and then to the general public.
