Sally intensifies to hurricane strength

Sally went from tropical storm to hurricane this morning, when it's winds jumped from 65 miles per hour in the 10 a.m. update from the National Hurricane Center, to 85 miles per hour at 11 a.m. At 11:30

At 11:30, the hurricane center updated it to 90 mph maximum sustained winds. The updated forecast predicts a Category Two Sally, with top winds of 105 mph, by landfall late Tuesday night/early Wednesday morning.
