Patchy dense fog formed again late Friday and has lingered into Saturday morning.
WWL-TV Chief Meteorologist Carl Aredondo says spotty showers or storms are possible for Saturday's parades during the day, but chance of rain is just 30 percent for isolated showers. Saturday highs are expected to be in the upper 70s.
The chance of rain drops to just 20 percent for the Saturday evening parades.
The forecast is not great for Sunday, especially Bacchus.
A front approaching on Sunday will increase chances for showers and thunderstorms, and some could be severe. There is a marginal to slight risk for severe storm in the afternoon and early evening. Otherwise, it'll be windy and warm Sunday, with highs near 80.
Lundi Gras and Mardi Gras look to be dry and much cooler, with highs in the 50s.
