Scattered storms and heat ahead of Cristobal

image

Scattered storms and hot temperatures come today ahead of Cristobal making landfall this weekend.

WWL-TV’s Meteorologist Dave Nussbaum says, “The forecast will still be dependent on what Cristobal does and where it tracks across the Gulf of Mexico. Right now, Saturday will be mostly cloudy with scattered showers and storms moving into the area starting in the afternoon and becoming more widespread by the evening. Some bands of heavy rain will be possible by Saturday night. Highs will be in the upper 80s.”
