Bands of strong storms are possible today as what is left of Cristobal continues to move north into Arkansas.

WWL-TV’s Dave Nussbaum says, “Feeder rain bands into the center will move across SE Louisiana today. Depending on where they set up we could have some heavy rain at times, and it could last for a while. This means flash flooding is still possible. Additional rainfall of 1-3" is possible. The Flash Flood Watch remains in effect until Tuesday morning.”

“We will still have high water levels across the Northshore and Louisiana coast as southerly winds continue to push in the water.  Highs will be in the mid-80s. The rain will taper off to just some light showers tonight. It will be muggy with lows in the 70s,” said Nussbaum.

Rain bands will move across SE Louisiana today. Depending on where they set up we could pick up an additional 1-3" of rain. That could lead to some street flooding issues. Keep an eye on the radar today! #BeOn4 @WWLTV pic.twitter.com/MB62r8UMiu
