New Orleans police say a woman was robbed while putting something in her car Saturday afternoon on South Liberty Street.
The 20-year-old victim told cops it happened around 4:30pm.
"The victim was putting some belongings in her trunk when the suspect approached her with a firearm in his hand," according to a news release.
Investigators say the only thing taken was the victim's shoes.
"(Suspect) reached into her vehicle, and took a pair of tennis shoes. The suspect then fled in a black Infiniti L/P 468DII in an unknown direction."
The investigation continues.
