Police in Shreveport are searching for a man they believe is responsible for a shooting that injured a person at Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport - St. Mary Medical Center in Shreveport’s Highland neighborhood.
According The Times Picayune | New Orleans Advocate, Shreveport news station KSLA reports police named a suspect in the shooting as 41-year-old Taniel Cole.
Police are not sure if the gunman is still in the hospital and is treating the incident as an active shooter situation.
Nearby, St. John Berchmans Catholic School, has cancelled classes due to the shooting incident.
