St. Landry Parish Sherf's deputies arrested the son of one of their own in connection with the fires that were started at three black churches in the Parish, according to The Advocate.
21-year-old Holden Matthews, is the suspect. KATC TV reports he is the son of a St. Landry Parish sheriff's deputy.
A news conference is scheduled at 10 a.m. Thursday morning.
