St. Charles Parish urging residents to monitor T.S. Olga

St. Charles Parish is urging residents in the parish to closely monitor T.S. Olga for any further developments. 

Parish President Larry Cochran sent out this news release: 

The St. Charles Parish Emergency Operations Center is closely monitoring the potential of more rainfall due to Tropical Storm Olga and is prepared to take necessary actions should the forecast put the parish at risk.The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for our area until 6 a.m. Oct. 26. Currently, St. Charles Parish officials are urging residents to monitor weather reports and prepare for heavy rain.The Department of Parks and Recreation has canceled all outdoor games for Oct. 26.  All volleyball games are still scheduled to be played tomorrow.Any questions may be directed to the St. Charles Parish Emergency Operations Center at (985) 783-5050 24 hours a day.
