Stocks finished a relatively quiet session slightly lower. The Dow Industrials fell 21 points, while the Nasdaq Composite lost 26.
Big decliners included videogame makers Take-Two and Electronic Arts - down 13% each -- after both reported disappointing holiday-quarter revenue.
Facebook has added a new feature to its messaging platform that allows you to retract messages. But you’ll only have 10 minutes to do so. The move comes after Techcrunch reported that founder Mark Zuckerberg had retracted Facebook messages from recipients -- revealing that the feature existed, but was not available to all users.
Oil prices managed a very modest rebound, getting a bit of a boost from news that weekly U-S crude-oil and gasoline inventories increased by a smaller amount than had been expected. March crude rose 35 cents to settle today at $54.01 a barrel.
