St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives are investigating a homicide that occurred Christmas night in the Madisonville area.
At approximately 7:45 p.m., STPSO deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 700 block of Highway 1085 in the Madisonville regarding an altercation that occurred between two individuals which resulted in the death of one.
The second individual is in custody and being questioned at this time.
This is an ongoing investigation according to police.
