New Orleans TV viewers tuned in to NBC's Sunday Night Football more than any other market, according to the network.
The Sunday night games received an average 34 share with a rating of 24.1 in New Orleans. Rating represents the total number of viewers while share represents the percentage of viewers.
The Saints only appeared in one Sunday Night telecast, a 30-20 victory over the Minnesota Vikings on October 28. The Saints did show up for another NBC prime-time game, however: the Thanksgiving night 31-17 win over the Atlanta Falcons.
That was the third-most watched NFL game of the season, with 21.7 million viewers nationwide.
Prime-time football was popular in New Orleans, with the market's TV watchers tuned in to ESPN's Monday Night Football more than any other region.
