Sunny and Warm Today, but severe weather moves in by Thursday

Sunny, warm and low humidity today but Wednesday is when our weather will change when a cold front moves in bringing possible severe weather into Thursday.

WWL-TV Meteorologist Dave Nussbaum says, “A cold front will move through overnight into Thursday morning with showers and storms. Some cold be strong to severe. The Storm Prediction Center has SE Louisiana in a Marginal Risk (Level 1 of 5) on Wednesday night, but it increases to a Slight Risk (Level 2 of 5) for Thursday morning. A squall line will form over Texas on Wednesday and move into the New Orleans area Thursday morning. Storms could produce damaging winds and possibly a few tornadoes.”
