Look for sunshine and 69 today for a high.
"We will have some wonderful weather today! High pressure will build over us and that will make it sunny," WWL-TV Meteorologist Dave Nussbaum forecasts. "It will be a milder day with highs in the upper 60s."
Not as cold tonight as the last couple of night.
"Tonight will be clear and chilly with lows in the 40s north and 50s south."
Nussbaum says tomorrow we will climb into the mid 70s for sunny afternoon highs. Things go downhill after that.
"Our weather changes on Thursday as a trough of low pressure and warm front move across the area. These features will set off scattered showers and thunderstorms. Some storms could be strong to severe."
He says while the risk is low; we could see damaging winds, hail and a few tornadoes.
"Heavy rain is also likely."
