Saints quarterback Taysom Hill was absent from training camp the past two days as he and his wife welcomed their first child.
Hill announced Saturday that his wife Emily gave birth to their son Beau.
"Words cannot describe the love and gratitude Emily and I are feeling right now," Hill wrote. "So proud of my wife, Emily, for all the sacrifices she has made, continues to make and how well she did in delivery. Finally, happy birthday to my little man, Beau Nixon Hill! We love you!!"

August 22, 2020 Hill announced earlier this year that he and his wife were expecting a child in August.
The Saints jack of all trades has been a member of the team since 2017 and his versatility has made him a go-to target in the Saints offense. Hill scored a combined seven touchdowns last season. And his "Swiss army knife" capabilities made him a fan favorite.
