With Michael Thomas setting a new NFL record for receptions in a season, Alvin Kamara looking like the Kamara of old and Brees doing what he does best, the Saints took care of business in Tennessee. Some Who Dats in Kenner were happy with the win.
"Well I was nervous at first but then they rallied and started playing like the Saints should be playing," said one fan.
"It was definitely worth putting Christmas on hold for a few hours to watch the Saints and a fabulous ending," another woman said.
Besides Michael Thomas and the game he had, this man said another Saint stood out.
"Alvin Kamara had a comeback game, he looked really good," he said. "I was impressed with the second half, he came back in the third quarter and kind of won the game for us."
"The way the Saints played, with the way they were down, to come back and refocus, that's the way it should be done," another fan said.
"And the 3, Kamara, Brees and Thomas; Michael Thomas broke that record and he still has another game," this excited man said.
The Saints are now hoping the Vikings defeat Green Bay on Monday Night Football which would help their chances to secure home field advantage in the playoffs.
