By now we've gone through at slew of emotions regarding the Saints loss over the weekend. But how do we cope?
Therapists say they've been inundated with calls and appointments because of the loss. Dr. Catherine Roland, counselor and Therapist in Metairie has seen it too and talks about what she is being told by clients she's seen.
"There's nothing like the way our fans feel about the city and the Saints," she said. "I've never seen anything like it. It was like it's personal."
Roland says she is also feeling the pain and trying to deal with it.
"I am also in mourning," Roland said. "I had a rough night. It affects the city for a lot of reasons, but people who really love the Saints, and are fans are affected in a way I don't think any loss has, prior to this."
Dr. Roland says the best thing we as fans can to is talk about it with friends families and co-workers.
"Continue that, and talk about it," she said.
